DISCLOSING STORIES

The women, class and sexual violence project

Research participants needed

**Our project runs Nov 2022 to Oct 2023

We have finished our recruitment**

This study invited working-class women to take part if they:

  • identified as a woman

  • experienced sexual violence (sex against your will)

  • identified as being a working class woman

  • were age 18 years or older

  • and currently live in Scotland

Taking part involved a discussion with a female interviewer, for up to 60 minutes. Most interviewees opted for a zoom call.

We provided £30 to all participants.. All interviews are confidential and we have ethical approval for this study from Glasgow Caledonian University.
